Commissioning the Lacroix SOFREL LogUp on ScadaBOSS. Field-proven sequence — a typical site is online in under an hour. Have your wiring drawing from the quote package handy.
Terminate per your ScadaBOSS wiring drawing: 4–20 mA transmitters on AI1/AI2 (2-wire, loop-powered — the LogUp energizes the loop only at sample time), dry contacts on DI1/DI2 (no voltage — floats, pump-fail relays, hatch switches).
Install My SOFREL LogUp (Google Play / App Store). Wake the logger and connect over Bluetooth — the app shows live readings from your sensors immediately, no cloud round-trip. Confirm your 4–20 signal moves and scales correctly right here on the bench.
In the Lacroix LX CONNECT portal (Devices → your unit → Configuration): name the channels, scale AI1 to engineering units, set measurement periodicity (5–15 min logging) and transmission periodicity (daily is the battery sweet spot).
Most important: set the device-side alarm thresholds (high level, low pressure…). A crossed threshold makes the LogUp call in immediately instead of waiting for the daily sync — that's your alarm path.
From the app, trigger a communication. Within a minute the device shows a fresh Last connection in LX CONNECT with your channel data.
On Monitoring → + Add Device, pick your application — Lacroix LX — Lift Station, Water Tank or Booster — and paste the device UID from LX CONNECT (Devices → Description). Once approved, ScadaBOSS pulls from the Lacroix cloud automatically: no credentials touch the logger, nothing else to configure.
On 🔔 Alarming: your device's cloud-alarm toggle is already ON. Pick a tag, set Hi/Lo/rate-of-change setpoints against the live statistics shown, choose email, Pushover or both, and press Send test alarm to prove delivery to your phone.
Put a Lo on Battery_DaysLeft @ 180 and a Lo on Reception_dBm @ −105 on every unit — battery replacement and antenna problems announce themselves months ahead.
Mount, connect the real sensors, then trigger one more app send from the final position and check Reception_dBm on the site page — better than −95 dBm is comfortable; worse, move the unit topside or fit a remote antenna. Finish with a real alarm test: lift the float or crack the tap, and watch the email + push arrive.
